A stunning porcelain Nippon vase by the Morimura Brothers of Tokyo Japan. (Noritake today). The mark dates between 1891-1906. It is the maple leaf with Nippon under it and Hand Painted to the side in blue. The vase has an urn shape with handles that appear as if you can lift the rings. The brilliant rose pattern is exquisitely hand painted with a muted background of a pond and grasses. Around the neck is stippling in gold creating a crown affect. a shell pattern in gold encircles the base. Both handles have a drape pattern. Some minor wear tot he gold here. It is in perfect condition other then the light wear to the handle’s gold. Stands and impressive 8 1/4" tall by 7" across and 4" wide.
